We use the newsletter service rapidmail, a provider based in Germany (rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg i.Br.). The data you provide when signing up for our newsletter (email address, if applicable name) is stored on rapidmail's servers in Germany. The email service provider rapidmail processes your data exclusively on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and does not share it with third parties.
rapidmail is 100% GDPR-compliant, and the data remains within the EU. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link included in every email.
We use Microsoft 365 (Office products) from Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA, for internal communication, document creation, and data processing. As part of using Microsoft 365, personal data may be processed on Microsoft servers. Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and guarantees compliance with EU data protection regulations.
For online surveys and registration forms, we also use Microsoft Forms. The data collected there (e.g. name, email, responses to questions) is stored on Microsoft servers and processed exclusively for the stated purpose.
To create and deliver interactive presentations and websites, we use Gamma.app, a service of Gamma Technologies Inc., USA. Technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access, and usage data may be collected and processed on servers outside the European Union.
We have entered into a data processing agreement with Gamma.app pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and ensure that appropriate safeguards for an adequate level of data protection are in place (e.g. through Standard Contractual Clauses). Processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of displaying content and optimizing our customer communications.
Gamma.app uses web fonts to display text. If these are embedded locally, no data is transferred to third parties. If Gamma loads fonts from third-party providers, this is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in a consistent and appealing presentation of our content.
