Modern surveying projects generate vast amounts of high-resolution point clouds, UAV images, and geodata. Today, the greatest challenge is no longer data collection, but its efficient evaluation and integration into CAD, BIM, or GIS processes. Jaroona transforms this process with AI.
Jaroona's AI analyzes point clouds of roads to automatically detect guardrails, road edges, traffic surfaces, embankments, and vegetation. This greatly simplifies the precise preparation of geometry data, even in complex scans with noise.
For facades, our AI converts point clouds and image data into usable geometries. It segments facade planes, identifies windows/doors and cornices, and prepares edge lines for CAD/BIM, flagging deviations for expert review.
The AI handles the time-intensive pre-analysis and drastically reduces manual routine work. Surveyors retain full control for review, correction, and approval, leading to faster and more consistent results.

With IntentGuard, we address a new security gap in modern DevOps environments: AI-generated configurations must not only be syntactically correct, but must also match the project’s actual security purpose.
IntentGuard shifts the assessment standard from rule-based control to intent-based security validation. What matters is not only whether a configuration works, but whether it still secures what it is meant to secure.
Generative AI is increasingly creating security-critical cloud and infrastructure configurations—such as Kubernetes manifests, Terraform configurations, AWS CloudFormation templates, or Helm charts. Traditional scanners primarily check syntax, known misconfigurations, and policy violations. Whether a configuration actually matches a project’s intended purpose, security architecture, and operational boundaries is often insufficiently assessed.
The framework validates whether a generated or modified configuration still aligns with the intended project purpose and security architecture. To do this, IntentGuard reconstructs, among other things:
This creates a semantic validation layer above traditional rule and syntax checks. IntentGuard detects deviations that appear technically plausible and operationally functional, but no longer fit the project’s intended security logic. This makes semantic misalignments visible that can create security-critical risks such as privilege escalation, unauthorized cloud access, RBAC drift, information leaks, or infrastructural backdoors.
The joint presentation by Anna Bacher, CTO of Jaroona, and Chris Wysopal, an internationally recognized cybersecurity thought leader, underscores Jaroona’s professional leadership role in the international AI security discourse. It also shows that Jaroona is actively shaping key future questions at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and contributing to the debate at the highest international level.

Our new AI solution complements existing monitoring systems or replaces them when needed with a standalone, data-driven analysis approach for higher yield, better prioritization, and predictive maintenance.
Jaroona presents an innovative, AI-powered solution for energy-weighted analysis of photovoltaic systems. Through the intelligent evaluation of operating, SCADA, alarm, maintenance, and inspection data, we create a better foundation for performance optimization, economic prioritization, and predictive maintenance.
While many existing monitoring systems operate reactively and rule-based, Jaroona identifies deeper patterns and gradual inefficiencies. The solution can be used as an AI extension to existing systems or as a standalone monitoring and analysis solution, depending on what is technically or economically most sensible.
We focus on the early detection of critical issues such as MPP deviations, degradation, partial shading, and other operational inefficiencies that often lead to efficiency losses of 5 to 10 percent. Unlike conventional systems, the Jaroona approach evaluates their actual relevance for energy yield, system availability, and maintenance priority.
The solution is technically flexible and can be connected to existing operating software or work directly with plant raw data, especially SCADA data. Our commercial model is designed for scalability, with pricing typically based on installed capacity and transparently growing with the size of individual plants or distributed portfolios.
Many operators are not yet using the full potential of their data for forward-looking decisions. We bring AI into PV analysis in a way that creates concrete action priorities for yield, efficiency, and maintenance — either as an extension of existing systems or as a standalone solution.

Can machine keep your code safe by Anna Bacher
Topic Abstract: Attackers weaponize AI. Since the early 1990s, every major machine learning open-source release has been closely followed by new attacker toolkits that add obfuscation and anti-decoding to avoid detection, polymorphism to evade antivirus tools, and deliver extremely volatile and dynamic payloads to avoid detection by network intrusion systems. Some attacker toolkits can detect a user‘s environment and deliver specific and targeted exploits. We live in an era of weaponized AI. I

Jaroona presented its innovative solutions at the IoT World Congress in Barcelona, one of the world's leading events for the Internet of Things.
At the trade fair, we showcased our AI-powered security solutions for IoT devices and demonstrated how our technology can help address the growing security challenges in connected environments.

On September 12, 2019, MBA Christian Bacher, CEO of Smart Engine Group, presented at the expert breakfast at myHive in Wienerberg. The session focused on the dual nature of cybersecurity as both a critical threat and a significant opportunity for businesses.
Participants gained valuable insights into the evolving landscape of digital security challenges and how companies can not only protect themselves, but also leverage security innovations as a competitive advantage in today's connected business environment.
Jaroona's blockchain-based security solutions offer a robust framework that could have prevented this massive data exposure and protected millions of customers from potential identity theft and financial fraud.
In a detailed analysis from July 25, 2019, Jaroona showed how its technology could have prevented one of the largest data breaches in financial history. First American Financial Corp suffered a devastating security failure that exposed 885 million records related to mortgage transactions.
The exposed documents contained highly sensitive information, including bank account numbers, account statements, mortgage and tax records, Social Security numbers, wire transfer receipts, and driver's license images dating back to 2003.
On February 18, 2019, Jaroona shared news about the Rakuten Pay Mobile App update, which could potentially include cryptocurrency payment features. The update was scheduled for release by March 18 and marks a significant step toward the broad adoption of cryptocurrencies.
